Split Rail Festival

Volunteers are needed to continue the Split Rail Festival in Flesherton. Some of the organizers are getting tired, quitting plus costs are rising making it difficult to make money. A meeting is planned for Nov 26 and a motion will be made to disband the festival unless more volunteers come forward.

It is very sad when established organizations that did well in the past are no longer viable because of a lack of volunteers. Please support the festival by stepping forward to offer your help.

First Winter Storm

Roads were closed on Saturday evening due to snow and poor visibility in the Stayner and Singhampton area. The snow is still clinging to the trees. Beautiful.
