Wind Power Project planned

If you are against large scale wind turbines blocking the view and cluttering up the beautiful landscape then here is something you might be interested in. (Not to mention making noise, vibrations, shadow flicker and more) A wind project is planned for the east side of Lake Eugenia with 5 turbines.

Meeting Nov 5th from 6 - 9 pm Feversham Rec Centre.
A speaker will be there discussing different sizes of wind power. He has spent 20 years reviewing the wind turbine industry.

I expect that people will have strong opinions about this issue.

I usually try to stay away from these sorts of issues, I felt this is important no matter what your feelings are on the subject. Once you put a wind farm in you are going to have it for a very long time. There is no going back. The landowners benefit financially but what about the rest of us? We have to live with the consequences of having the wind turbines nearby. Do we really know what those consequences will be?

This blog does not reflect the Flesherton Chambers stance on this matter. This is an independent blog.
