Flesherton raises the Red Flag

Flesherton is supporting the Ottawa Senators during the Stanley Cup finals. Lots of red ribbons are displayed on houses and businesses in Flesherton. The Senators flag was raised at the arena with the help of Chris Neil's father and brother.

The Kinsmen have set up a large screen TV at the arena where people can watch the playoff games. There is an admission fee.

Good Food Hot Spots!

Do you like fresh homemade bread? Check out the new bakery called "The Bakery". Good name, excellent bread. It's located on County Road 4 on the east side of Flesherton.

Danielle's is also a great treat with wonderful pastries and other yummie things. It's in Eugenia in the same building as the Eugenia Falls Emporium.

We seem to have an abundance of good food treats here in Flesherton and Eugenia. Check them out!

Flesherton Fling May 19th

Check out the Flesherton Fling. Lots of fun events going on all over Flesherton. Starting Saturday at 8 am with The Flesherton Farmers' Market first day of the season. Belly Dancing and Drum Circle, Kiini Rhythms and Drum workshop, Nia Dance, South Grey Museum opening, Dance Recital, Tai Chi Workshop, Poetry by the Pond, Pianist Robin Rich, Singer Song-writer Ian MacCallum and Ingrid Langhorst, Draw for Prizes and Rockerfellers Dance.
