Fire at the Beaver Valley Motel

A devastating fire happened early this morning at the Beaver Valley Motel in Eugenia. Firemen from Flesherton and Markdale were called at around 2:30 am June 5. The fire was still smouldering at 8:30 am.

Not much is left of the restaurant and motel. Thankfully no one was hurt.

The owners had done renovations and put in many hours of hard work. They were building their business and had bookings for the summer. I hope they will be able to rebuild and open again.
