Earth Day Events April 20

Check out the great presentation by John Burton at Grey Highlands Secondary School. This is an amazing course offered at our local high school. Local kids often have life altering experiences while taking this course. Their appreciation of our environment is heightened and they gain confidence and learn things not possible in a classroom. Earth Day April 22nd join in and help clean up garbage and other messy stuff. Early birds who don't mind working at 9 am can go to the Eugenia Falls Conservation Area. Others who like to sleep in can go to the Eugenia Community Park at 12:30 pm and help clean there. Cleaning around your yard and street is encouraged. See what we're planning to do in the park and offer your support for the concept, if you like it.
