It's snowing again!!
Oh... that's just what we need... more snow... and... more snow days. My kids have not been to school on a friday for a very long time. Every week it seems there are snow days. Way too many snow days....Spring would be nice anytime now.

ah...yes...snowdays!!! As much as we parents dislike it...lets recall how much we loved it when we were our kids age. So, they get a day off...and we are faced with daycare dilemmas and finding things to keep them occupied after constant complaining that they are bored and it is only 9:15am!!! But the memories...ah...the memories..of looking at the window and seeing miles of fresh crisp white snow covering everything in site...the smell of fresh air...the way the air bites at our cheeks but yet seems to give us a burst of energy....
Recall how much fun we had...running around in our snowsuits, making snow forts, pretending we were explorers in the Artic...coming home completely covered from head to toe in snow...freezing, exhausted yet...content. Try to not be so discouraged over the snow, but think of the memories your children are gaining and will remember when they are parents and will share with their kids.
